How to self exclude from every sportsbook, in one night
Self exclusion is the one switch the books are legally required to give you. You ask to be locked out, they have to lock you out, and in most places they also have to stop sending you offers. It works on the account, not the phone, so deleting the app does nothing but self exclusion does.
The order that works
- Start with the book you used last. Not the one with the most money in it. The one your thumb goes to.
- Open the app, go to account or settings, and look for Responsible Gambling, Self Exclusion, or Take a Break. Every regulated book has it. The shortcuts below take you to each book's own page.
- Pick the longest period they offer. A 24 hour cool off is a pause. Six months or more is a decision. If you are reading this page you already know which one you need.
- Withdraw first if you can, then exclude. Some books freeze the balance when you exclude. Get the money out, then lock the door.
- Do the next book before you sleep. Tomorrow you will have a reason not to.

What self exclusion does not do
It does not cover books you have never signed up to. It does not cover offshore sites. It does not cover the friend who will place a bet for you. That is why the second step is the phone: block the sites you choose, in every browser, which takes about a minute and does not need an account anywhere.
While you wait
The urge does not care that the account is locked.
Free. No account. Takes two questions.
